Our DecoTeak Symmetry 24 inch length extended height teak shower bench with shelf & Lift Aide™ arms provides a subtle Asian elegance. Its swooped flared arms not only provide a design flair, but also provide functional arms for gripping to lift yourself out of the bench. The curvilinear designs of the seat, legs, and shelf provided added contemporary elegance to your shower. Its 24" length x 14.5" width x 29.5" extended height (seat height 23") will make a tremendous design statement to your contemporary shower, or bathroom. The included utility shelf also provides extra storage area for toiletries, shampoo, or other shower accessories. Extensive clinical research has shown that by simply providing arms to assist in lifting out of a chair, the added leverage can increase efficiency by almost 200%. Further research has shown that by extending the height of a chair to 23" it can provide an additional 200% decrease in strain, and increase in ergonomic efficiency. The LiftAide arms are designed to be sturdy, and steady to provide that added support and assistance when lifting out of the shower chair. They also provide a handy surface for hanging towels on, and the bench can double as a towel rack once you are out of the shower. An included utility shelf provides additional storage and easy access for your toiletries, or other essential items. The included foot leveling pads provide extra flexibility and stability to allow stabilization due to any minor slope in shower floors. Teak is naturally water, mold, and mildew resistant due to its natural density and high oil content. It has been the wood of choice for hundreds of years of luxury boat builders. This natural resistance has been supplemented by using our proprietary DecoTeak stain which is a deep penetrating stain with added mold, mildew, and fungus inhibitors. It provides the ability for this teak furniture to be used outdoors as well as indoors.

If purchased directly from our company or new from an authorized re-seller, products carry a 5-year warranty for home use, and 1 year for commercial use. Products are guaranteed against defects in materials, workmanship, and construction only. Excluded are normal wear and tear, including finish wear, surface cracks that are not structural, and existence of mold. Please use our recommended care instructions to prolong the life of your finish and product. Maximum warranty is limited to one replacement item of same or similar if product has been discontinued. Warranty resolution is at the sole discretion of E&T Horizons, and photo and proof of purchase or warranty registration will be required to submit a claim.

teakwood bench with shelf and lift aide arms
I use this bench on my deck while grilling and using the griddle...almost daily. It is a great looking piece of furniture, very solid and sturdy and holds up to the weather. It is an excellent height for me to sit on while cooking. I know it is designed for use in a shower but it can be used for any number of things.

Great To Find It Again
My husband's teak shower bench was getting a bit ratty, but I dreaded trying to find another one as it is a 24" one and it was very hard to find to begin with. Imagine my pleasure to find the same company and the same bench. On sale! I bought it again and was pleased to see the last one was purchased 8 years ago. It is still very solid though, so a fabulous product!

Great addition to bathroom:
I love this bench. Very easy to assemble. Searched long for a higher bench. Perfect for those that have difficulty rising from a sitting position & dressing. Good quality. Perfectly matches my bathroom cabinets.

I'd looked everywhere for a bench like this
After searching high and low on the Internet for a shower bench taller than the usual 18". I thought I'd have to have it custom made. But then I found this one and ordered it, so excited.
It is not only high enough for my husband's 6' frame, it is comfortable, and after considering other unattractive options, I was thrilled that is is also a beautiful piece of furniture.
To top it off, it was an fast and easy buying experience. The company was a pleasure to do business with. Great customer service.
