Use Loveable™ Teak Oil to preserve the life and beauty of your teak products, and other tropical hardwoods   Ideal for indoor furniture such as teak and bamboo shower furniture.   In addition our products can be used for teak outdoor furniture, teak marine decking, and just about anything made out of teak, Ipe, bamboo, acacia, eucalyptus, or other tropical hardwoods.

The specially formulated Loveable Teak Oil will deeply penetrate into the grains of the wood, not just stay on the surface.   This allows for both protection, cleaning, and nourishing of the wood.   After application the wood will be provided with a hydrophobic (water repellent) quality which helps to prolong life, as well as protect the wood from deteriorating chemicals, soaps, shampoos, dirt and food.   In addition the teak oil will provide the furniture with a rich golden brown honey color that is beautiful and attractive.   This coloring is from natural plant based ingredients, and not a dye, or stain.   Teak oil can be used on a periodic basis to help prolong the life, and protect the beauty of your teak, ipe, acacia, eucalyptus, bamboo, and other tropical hardwood products.   

Prior to using teak oil it is recommended that product be free from embedded oils, and stains, and soap scum.   Regularly using a specially formulated cleaner such as Loveable Teak and Bamboo cleaner will help keep your teak furniture clean and prevent contaminants from soaking into the porous wood.   If your teak furniture has a protective factory coating it might inhibit the teak oil from initially penetrating into the pores of the wood.

Our convenient and economical 32 oz. spray bottle is easy and convenient to use.  Prior to using this product, make sure wood surface is cleaned and free of soap scums, dirt, oil, mold, or grease. We recommend using Loveable™ Clean Teak & Bamboo Furniture Cleaner to remove dirt and stains without harming the existing finish. Test on an inconspicuous area to confirm there are no negative impacts to your existing finish or wood.   The temperature should be between 50°F to 95°F, and product should not be applied in direct sunlight.   All you need to do is spray the teak oil liberally on the surface of your product.  Allow it to soak in for 10-15 minutes.   Wipe off excess oil, in the direction of the wood grain, with a lint free cloth. After 4 hours, when dry to the touch, additional coat(s) of teak oil may be applied.  At the first sign of wearing of teak oil, reapply.
