For the DecoTeak and EcoDecors finishes the best way to protect your investment in your teak shower furniture is to regularly clean and nourish the wood. Cleaning the wood with our EPA certified Safer Choice Cleaner will remove soap scum, shampoos, and other harmful chemicals. The DecoTeak product ranges do come from our factories with a multilayer proprietary finish with not one, but two coats of a protective coating. However some saps and shampoos are very aggressive chemicals and can eat away at the factory finish. Regular use of the pH neutral EPA Safer Choice products will help remove those soap and shampoo residues, and protect the finish. Teak oil can be used periodically, every 3-6 months. The teak oil will both clean, protect, and moisturize the wood. Our convenient spray bottle and proprietary finish and surfactants allows deep penetration of the oils into the wood.
